I bought one. I think it's some coyote fur dip. It was so ugly I immediately sent it off to be cerakoted. Kind of canceled out the savings, but I really like it now.

I've had two rifles in 204. A Remington Model 7, and a Howa, both with 20 inch lightweight barrels. Both shot extremely well, although I wasn't really impressed with the cartridge on coyotes. My thoughts are the 204 best shines in a heavy barreled rifle, of at least 24 inches, and used for long range shots at small critters.
