Now wait a minute, something's wrong here. Everybody knows that the only slaves there have ever have been, are the ones that were brought here to this country. Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and Stonewall Jackson sailed across the Atlantic in ships flying the Confederate flag, and captured poor Black people who were living in mansions, and busy inventing such things as computers and live-saving medicines.
That is the reason that those Confederate memorials need to come down, and replaced with memorials to Blacks who invented all those great things.

None. Egyptians were black, and as James said, in those days were using anti-gravity technology to move those big ass rocks to make their pyramids. No slaves were needed and besides slavery is racist and black people can't be racist. The story of Moses and the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt is of course a myth made up by white people.

I've heard that's where the phrase "sold down the river" came from. When a slave was incorrigible or repeatedly tried to escape, they were sent down river, often ending up in Caribbean cane fields. The slave often had the impression that they were going to a better place, until they reached the cane fields where the temperature was brutal along with the work, not to mention the other maladies listed above.
Malnutrition and Malaria. The French business model in the Caribbean was work slaves to death in 3 years and import new ones.
Thanks for your reply and that’s along the lines of what I suspected. M&M was certainly not unique to slaves. Malnutrition and disease killed a lot of non slaves. Now with KFC, Popeyes and McDonald’s they’re moving up several weight classes but they’re still malnourished, uneducated and enslaved.

The life expectancy of a slave in the Caribbean cane fields was about 2 to 3 years. Conditions were brutal and new slaves were cheap and plentiful.
What was the common cause of death for the Caribbean cane field slaves?
Malnutrition and over work without rest. They were trying to avoid a much feared slave rebellion. The best way was to keep them so weak that they couldn't fight. Replacements were cheap so killing them off made sense to them.
