Ok I am convinced...I have about 300 lapua SRP cases and 100 of them are never been fired. Swapping over to hornady brass. Anyone want to purchase? Hornady is not bad, but this is the good stuff, and would make a comparable replacement for your Lapua stuff... The goods

I already have about 500 cases of hornady so just gonna swap over to that. Likely just gonna rock the lapua till I get a miss fire or hang fire as it seems it’ll happen sooner or later given I am 700+ into it so on borrowed time. When that happens likely next week or so off to pull Bullets and powder and swap over to hornady.

I was testing two different suppressors yesterday, to see if There was a POI difference, swapping back and forth. This is Large Rifle Primer Alpha brass. This was the best five shots, but all other 5 shot groups(6 total)were well under .5" with two different bullet weights and powder charges. My point is, pretty good accuracy, really good dependability...I hunt a lot in subzero temps, and need to trust my equipment. Jordan has put a few rounds through this rifle....;)

David Tubb had this to say about why he chose to use brass with LR primers in the 6XC, whether reformed .22-250 or factory Norma 6XC brass: “A detailed study of large and small rifle primers showed that large rifle primers worked best when the propellant charge exceeds 35 grains as is the case with the 6XC.”
However, he didn't mention who did the study, and a Google search didn't find it. But Tubb knows his stuff.

That is one mean setup, even when it was in .308 Win (IIRC) guise.
Hardly fair to the coyotes, especially in 6 Creed form!

Hmmm maybe I will just ditch the 6.5 all together and keep my 22-250 with LR primers in lapua brass. Seems the like 41 grains of powder for a 210 to light of is but a light snack. Just glad I have been lucky thus far with no hang fires.

You've been made. Stepped a little too far out from under the bridge, haha
