An hour on trail with Onyx in near perfect snow/mud conditions.
First day doing anything since Sunday, between work and a really nasty chest cold.

Did about 2 1/2 miles on the scooter with the dog, then went to the gym for upper body.

Hope to park the scooter permanently next Tuesday.

a tough 12 mile run, it’s the course for a upcoming 12 hour race in June- 12 miles of single track, ~ 2300’ of gain and still LOTS of snow; conditions are such that you really have to watch your step- lots of old post holes waiting to wreck an ankle

Went on a short trip to Costa Rica for a business function of my wife's. Did burpees, and lunges in our room then swam in the ocean each day. Back home yesterday and I've taken a couple of days off. Tomorrow I'll be up early and at it again.

Knee scooter, you don't have one? They're all the rage here. Every 6 year-old boy I pass is jealous.

Seriously though, I had surgery to fuse the bones in my ankle and I haven't been able to walk or put weight on it for about 8 weeks now. Hopefully that changes on Tuesday when they'll do an x-ray and see if the bones have fused enough for weight-bearing.

No worries Ted, it should be a big improvement. My ankle was seriously messed up, out of alignment, bone-on-bone arthritis, and four bone fragments floating around in there. Made it difficult to walk any distance. I'm looking forward to this September.

3 miles with the wife and Tiny E- snow packed trails, but we’re finally enjoying some seasonal temps, with highs into the 40’s- good stuff!

Did my 28 miler.

Think I mentioned I've been consumed by big new biz I'm chasing. I finished the "prove it" stage of things yesterday; went well. Today was the first true day off I've had in ~ 6 weeks. I was either serving my existing customers or doing the stuff to land this new one. Required a shïtload of specialized tooling and fixturing, most of which I made. Anyway-- things should be more normal now; looking forward to re-establishing my exercise routines.

40 minutes of cardio on the arm bike and ski ergo, and leg machines. Couldn't dump the scooter yet, I guess its true what they say about gradually bearing weight on the ankle.

^ I had a heel fracture (stress fracture) a few years back- they said it would be 8 weeks before I could put much weight on it; I’m thinking that should be roughly 4 weeks for me- I found out despite my dislike for Kryptonite, I wasn’t superman and it indeed took 8 weeks laugh
