I just loaded up some 44 spl and put them in a bulldog

I had quite a few rounds that the primers never ignited
I put some factory ammo no issues

I look at the primers and they look lightly striked (on the reloads) the factory they look peened a bit harder

are Remington primer a bit hard? or am I missing something One thing I did notice they took more pressure to seat but didnt think anything at the time
It was not old stock not that that would be an issue but just got them at the local Gun Shop
I came home and loaded the same reciept with Winchester I will see how that goes

Any info would be apreciated

9 1/2 are large rifle primers, cups are too thick for pistols, large pistols primers are 2 1/2

I keep all my pistol reloading presses and components on one side of my reloading room and rifle on the other, but I have a big reloading room.
