The steyr is scary accurate and I'm planning on shaving the bolt handle to lower scope.
The Ruger load is a 200gr coreLok round nose 1" groups. Ruger low set up so I can't go 30mm.
AR is accurate and load is a 125 SP. killed 5 deer last year. 24/7 truck gun. Goes everywhere I go.

I have many heavier 06's with 22" and longer barrels and thinking of moving a Brno 20H with a 20" bbl. chambered in 7. I it's scoped now with a Leu.2-7 so that's fine and held ........

I have many heavier "06's" with 22" and longer barrels and am thinking of moving a Brno 20H up in the rotation with a 20" bbl. chambered in 7.0 I it's scoped now with a Leu.2-7 so that's fine and held unmarked mounts in what look like that detachable mount the cheks used back then.

I cheated on the scopes, but it's only 3 guns. If I hadn't been lugging the 257 around for 42yrs I'd have gone with a 308 77 RSI with 4x Conquest.

If the #4 is a German, would make sense to put it on the Steyr. Just seems fitting.

Yep, long barrel for increased velocity is what you want in a rifle thats best use is shooting subsonic suppressed.

I haven't got around to trying subs, having fun with the 110s at 2300fps or so keeping the steel swingin' better than 223s.
Six 150gr Accubonds at 2000fps in the same rifle I handle all year on the range while brush bustin' ain't a bad thing either.

Using a 300BO unsuppressed with supersonics is like buying alcohol just to cook with. It works, but not the best use for it.
