How do you score those?

We are going to start weighing them. There's been some dispute about who is winning.

So, how do they cook up? Any BBQs yet?

flave, how much do those big things weigh? Where do you find them? Those things aren't running around town are they?
What do they eat, pets and small children?
I am having a hard time believing those ugly bastards even exist!

Especially when they turn and hiss from lack of deadness.

They're everywhere and especially in town. I think they mostly eat plant and bug life. They swim like fish and I believe they eat small schit out of the water quite a bit.

They are hated by most everyone here. I guess down in the Keys they are somewhat beloved but around the Miami area they are despised. People pay to have them "removed" which means taken to the truck and shot. They chew through wires and cause power/internet outages. They are not unlike gophers and rabbits. Areas that have them are just filthy with 'em. Areas that don't, just don't. It's rare that I find one more than 20yds from water. Usually canals.

I am not sure what they weigh but they are a hearty beast. I'd guess that one in the most recent pic is 15lbs.

You must instill deadness....on a massive scale.

Next time we're down there after Peacock Bass I'm bringing my boys a frog gig and couple of fish bats. Way too many of those bastids break off the canal banks right under your feet and make you nearly chit yourself.

I think we need a new Boone and Crockett category.

You can't LEGALLY kill them that way so be careful. That's why we use a pellet gun.

There are some MONSTERS we haven't been able to seal the deal on and I'm not kidding. Think 40lbs.

We laugh our ass off hunting these things. It's stupid but it's fun.

There are rules?!?? Jeez Louise..... I figured they'd be like pigs....

Nobody hates rules more than myself.

But you do have to be quick about it.

While airgunning iguanas may be fun for awhile, I'd imagine turning the boys loose with a club would have much more entertainment value.
