Are you fuggen kidding. As big as my Shillelagh (that you recommended) isn't big enough!!! Damn. Works on the pesky little scorpions. A fly swatter works as well. But I don't understand why peeps in my area grow them fuggers unless they grow them for the chickens to eat . Damn a Bigg Fuggen reptile.

I may be wrong but I've not seen them on a plate in close proximity to your wife.

Could be the least to acceptance by normal folk-at least people where that schidt doesn't grow.

They're hard to get close to and you are usually within line of sight of people. Going full apacalypto could be tough.

But we have tried.

My wife loves to hunt and fish but she says I'm on my own for anything iguana or gator.

I think she'll come around on the gator thing though.

Just carry a fishing rod up and down the canal banks. Bastids will hide until you nearly step on them to flush, I grew up in gator country and those damn iguanas have convinced me I was about to get eaten a few times....

May be an ignorant question, but why can't a small welding tank of nitrogen be used with a pcp rifle?

They can be rented for little cost and are usually just traded for a full one off the dock when empty.
Sounds cheap and easy, if it would work...

I've seen that and I thought about it but decided my method is superior.

With the amount of them ugly ass lizards it sounds like south Florida has, deader is better.

I was on the Airgun Warriors forum, formerly known as the "Yellow Forum", in the Hunting forum look for the "194 Iguanas" page.

There's a lot of work to do to clear out the invading Iguanas in Florida.

Flave, does it take ahead shot to keep them from running off.? Or, does it take more than one shot?

I am pretty sure I wouldn't eat one after handling it!

It absolutely requires a head shot. I've found right behind the eye works best so far. The big ones often require two shots even with perfect placement. They have tons of fight in them.

I would love to find an orchard or something that needs them kilt and use a 22LR. I have no doubt that some good HP's in the shoulder region would knock them flat.

I don't know that eating any of them in volume would be a good idea around here. They spend a ton of time in those nasty ass canals.
