I've purchased a Mini Howa. Not been to the range yet. Will go through the factory suggested break in etc.

I'm really interested in a "One round" does it all scenario.

Maybe in the 130 grain bullet size ?

Anyone have any information on game performance, accuracy etc out of the mini Howa ?

Rifle intentions are going to be used as lightweight truck gun that does it all from coyotes to small white tail.

130 grn Normas ?
135 grn Bergers ?
129 grn Hornady ?

Or should I do something along the lines of a 100 grn Nosler Partition ?

Any real world information would be greatly appreciated. Any information on game you've taken and cartridge performance.

OK, so I just purchased a few "cheap" boolits for the Howa suggested "break in" procedure. PPU 120grn HPBT's. $20/100.

Started looking up U-tube vidoes. Doctacdad shoot's them in factory loads with pretty good groups.

Anyone else have any real experience with theese Prvi Patisan 6.5's . Anyone on the fire have experience with them in any 6.5 rifles ? 6.5x55 ? 6.5 creed ? .260 ?

Looks like you done good Jim.

After I get the thing broke in, I'll start working up loads. And lucky me. I have an 8lb bottle of 8208

Have you taken any game with your Howa ?

No, I have not.

I picked it up used, this winter for a calling rifle for coyotes. Never got the chance.

I fully intend on letting the kids deer hunt with it, when they are old enough.
