Cameraland has just released a camerland exclusive fixed 6x scope. The email I saw says this is a camerland only model. Doug got lots of feedback here from everyone saying they wanted a fixed 6x scope. I personally think the fixed 6x deal is way way let me say way over represented. So here is your chance to buy a fixed 6x scope!!!! HERE IS YOUR SCOPE!!!! its your fault if it doesn't sell. Doug is doing exactly what you said you wanted. now go buy the damn thing!!!!! here is the link I expect them to sell out today. http://campaign.r20.constantcontact...;ca=0873bcdd-d71b-47b9-8f4b-f4e6da2d44b7

It says capped turrets but in the picture it looks exposed. Which is it?

Doug is doing exactly what you said you wanted. Mil-dot reticle? Yuck - I don't think that's what we've been asking for . . .

I'm sure it's a fabulous scope but $2,000 isn't exactly what "everybody" has asked for.

Hardly a boat anchor. Pretty silly to compare a S&B to a old leupold. It's out of my budget too but I'm not going to put it down.

It says capped turrets but in the picture it looks exposed. Which is it? I am awaiting confirmation from Germany, however, they sent the image to me this morning. The scope is built on the platform of the PMII 10x42 which is exposed Turrets so I believe their original note of capped is incorrect.

Why even start a post like this? self explanatory really. why even comment if you don't like it. buy the friggen scope everyone said they wanted a fixed 6x scope. here it is. a mil dot reticle is surprisingly useful. its decent at low light, and its easy to use for hold over on shots to 500 yards at least. there are a lot worse reticles out there than mil dot. as time has went by and all the fancy whizbang this or that. I have found myself liking the plain ole mil dot. more and more. I will expect this scope to sell out today.

Why worry about what others post with your record.

I've no doubt that it will be the most rugged 6x, but that price is way out of line for the features compared to other offerings.

I just spoke with S&B. The Windage will be capped and the Elevation will be exposed. This is a Made in Germany scope, not Hungary. Our web builder has added this Schmidt & Bender 6x42 PM II FFP - P3 #832-811-862-73-94 to our site

Glad to see this scope is listed as a first focal plane. I wouldn't be interested if it wasn't Because that is quite important with a fixed power scope...
