was AWOL yesterday, but have an excuse- bought a Glock 43, had a 42 when they first came out, loved the handgun, but was less thrilled with the.380, so ended up selling it

Yesterday I warmed up with a good dose of jump rope. Then knocked out my burpee routine shaving a minute off my previous time. Felt good and probably should have pushed on to another exercise, but cheated myself and let it rest. Got home after work and knocked out some kettle bell swings before going to bed.

Walked the dogs this morning and got a bit more exercise by constantly pulling on them as they kept trying to stop and sniff spots on the uphill portions of the walk or stop to listen to other dogs bark at them. Will stretch and warm up here in a bit then get after it.

Did upper body today. Until the women crowded around too much and I had to stop. A wide spectrum, from teenagers to one of Battue's old flames. And I do mean old.....

Cyn and I did a fairly intense (steep) 4-5 miler today. It was basically a part of a conditioning/ long range shooting loop route on BLM I'd figured out years ago... put in steel plates, etc. However it no longer functions as a loop due to logging, so we just sorta did half of it then headed back.

I'll say this. Around here, if you're someone who gets out in the woods and finds your cool secret spots in mature timber... chanterelle patches, unofficial trails, huge cedars, waterfalls, etc (all of which this loop had)........... don't get too attached to it.

The CENTER will hold.

She told me about it. Mentioned something about you being bony, and not in the right place.

Advice: Do the heavy components lifts, then 48 hours of light and stretches. Repeat. Supposed to help with low T.

Never heard of "Low T" but I did just have my annual physical with a complete work-up. I just hate it when all the women who work for the doctor try to cram into the exam room to see me with my shirt off.

I'm pretty sure one of them was the receptionist, and one was just a patient.

My Dr hired one of my wife's friends as his nurse. She's never left the room but I have noticed her blush on occasion.

I had a hip x-rayed about a year ago. I wasn't expecting the view when the Dr put it on the projector. My wife and I laughed, the Dr and nurse both blushed. I'd noticed the young girl taking the x-rays grinning but I had no idea.

OK, you degenerates, back on topic. Did 35 minutes of intervals on the stationary bike today. Yesterday, walked a little over a mile off trail. Doesn't sound like much but it's progress when your intermediate goal is to walk normally.

4.5 miles with ~ 500’ of gain AND a 75 lb pack; this ends my pack testing and have concluded it’s up to the task- I just have to do my part to get meat into it smile

My oldest wants me to run a 5k with her in a month so I did 10 minutes of elliptical then ran a mile for 3 rounds. Hopefully the old joints will get used to the pounding pretty quick.
