Picked up a High Condition M12 Heavy Duck at a LGS. The only issue was the barrel had been cut back to around 20". I wanted to bring it back to life to use as a turkey gun. After talking to Mike on the phone, I sent it along with a MO for the specified amount to have it threaded for chokes. A total of 9 days elapsed from the time I dropped it off to be shipped to it was back on my door step. Work appears to be very good. I am very satisfied with the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate sending him another.

Typical Orlen right there. Zero hype, just gets it done fast and cheap.

Work appears to be very good or is very good? POI? Everything Mike does is done from the breach so POI is unchanged, one the main reasons I like using him. Too many guys that say they are "shotgun barrel guys" work from the muzzle they can, and often do, change POI.

Having had quite a lot of work done by him I will never send him another!
Three of four barrels in the last group were very, very poorly done. I believe he screwed them up and then tried to figure out how to fix them. I have an Ithaca Mag 10 with a tube that cannot be used and the other tube which came installed was a nightmare to remove with all the grit. It looks like he used valve grinding compound instead of anti-seize. One of his custom tubes shot out the end of the barrel in a big spiral but was clearly seated properly when shot... I could go on...
He has done a big bunch of barrels for me as he did nine the first time and that included a couple double guns... four another time and other groups... everything was great until it wasn't.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
