A number of years ago, USRAC made a Model 70 that they called a Custom African Express. I recall that it had upgraded wood and a drop magazine that could hold 4-5 rounds of ammunition. I think they were chambered in 375 HH, 416 Rem, 458 Lott, maybe 416 Rigby and 470 Capstick.
I think they go for several thousand dollars on the rare occasion a guy sees them for sale.
What would it take to convert say a 416 Safari Express into something similar? Custom stock, new magazine box and bottom metal?
