I've got a couple of left-hand mdl. 70s that I think I'm going to auction off on Gunbroker. One is a Classic Sporter LT in 270 Win. and the other a Featherweight in 270 WSM, both are blued with the original boxes and paperwork. They have both been fired but very little. I was wondering what these are bringing at auction and what a good starting price would be?
Thanks, Pat

There's been quite a few magnum LH M70s on Gunbroker as of late, by one seller in particular, and they're stagnate at $1050. A Featherweight in 7mm WSM new in the box sold for $1039 a couple weeks ago. Your .270 Win. should sell pretty easily, standard bolt face rifles are in more demand than the magnums. I'd say you might get $1200 or better for it if a bidding war starts. You never know, I don't see any .270/.30-06s at auction right now.

Fair assessment of current condition ^^^^^ Market has been soft since Trump won the election. GLWYS !

Seen a stainless lefty model 70 in 30-06 go for $1300 on GB recently. Wish i would've bought it. Everything above is correct, the market has gotten softer, but the standard bolt face rifles to go higher. Good luck!

Also the 270 Winchester for some odd reason are the hardest one to find in the left hand model 70's..
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

True to the above. I found that odd, too. Seems like the 270 should have been the most common:)

I sold a 270wsm 70FW in LH CM a few years ago ANIB. I had to dip below $900 to get any action on it.

I picked up a very nice stainless LH 338 Win this week off gunbroker for $875 with a B&L scope. Like new condition so I would agree that the market is soft. I actually went on to check if you listed yours and couldn’t resist. Good luck with your sale.

I have a left handed 270 that I plan to keep as long as I can.
I hit age 78 this past January and plan to keep it for a while.
It is a sweetie of the first order.

Steve Well, If you decide to sell it, my name is Steve as well. We can then keep it with a properly named lefty:) Steve
