Yep. My Mom is still doing good. She turned 100 last month. I told her that 100 wasn't a target but just a number you pass while you go on your way. It is amazing the number of lives she has touched over the years and continues to touch every day.

Mom passed in 1998 at 64 and I think of her every day. Two year battle with cancer. Leaving this afternoon to go to father house. Hospital in the morning for battery of test to see why he is losing weight. Blood work perfect for 83 year old.

My mom is 75.
I don't bother her, she doesn't bother me.
Pleasant lady..........but always done her own thing.
Not very maternal.
Never been close.
Guess she did her job alright.......as I'm self sufficient and prefer to be alone LOL.

Hmmm, chip off the old block?

Yep, thankfully! Got to speak with her for a while this morning. She's 81 now and having fairly serious memory issues so it's nice to have good conversations like today. Happy Mother's Day to all!

Miss her dearly; mine died @ 56 in 2003. One of the dearest people I’ve ever known. Loved me through some really unlovable crap.

No way I ever could repay her.

Fortunately my kids have an equally amazing mother...

Yes, as of 1/1/2018 she is 70 years old. She is an amazing person that can do anything she puts her mind to: from a radio personality to a designer of Japanese produced material.

Plus she can make an amazing peanut butter frosted chocolate cake.

She has earned her sainthood as the mother of three boys.

Mom passed in 2002 at 85. She loved the time that she got to spend with her grandson, who was about to graduate from college. I wish she had been able to enjoy his boys as much as I do.

Nope - mine died just about two months ago.

This year was weird in that i didn't send flowers and a Mothers Day card....she died a day short of her 76th birthday.

Mine still lives in my heart and will for as long as I live. I just wish I had told her more often that I loved and appreciated her.

Im sorry for those who didnt have a loving, God fearing mom to impart love and compassion. Satan wanders to and fro seeking to lure those suseptabile and thus cause human pain and misery. All to often he succeeds.

I don't want to cause offense, but from your previous post I never would have suspected you of being a Christian. I'm glad to see I was wrong.

Dad died when I was 21. That would have been 1983. Mom died two year later, yet another victim of cancer. She was an incredibly tough woman. She was on her death bed, but knew my son and his wife would be coming home from the hospital wtih their first child, and her first grandchild. She hadn't had her eyes open for over a day, but heard the baby crying when they came to visit. She opened her eyes as best she could, looked at her grandson, smiled and closed her eyes again, never to awaken. I'm absolutely certain she hung on to see her grandson. Her work here was done. Rest in Peace Mom. Rest in Peace.

Mom passed finally at 76 after 28 YEARS of being blind and bedridden. I think she hung on the last couple of years cause she was worried about my boy and I being a single dad and all....I rallied back big time and my son is great...I hope she knows that and is pain free in a better place!
