If I only had to use one mag it would be Chip McCormick. Local shops and Ebay.
They usually run me $20.

Wilson 47 has always been good for me...

Wilson or Chip. I used Wilson for years in competition and they are as good now as they day they were bought. Built like tanks.
I have a couple of Chips that are for a compact 1911 platform, but 7 shots. Never a bobble.

Tripp Research are the best mags I have ever used for the 1911. CMC Powermag tubes with Tripp springs and followers are close runners up.

They usually run me $20. +1 on these. They are very easy to find, don't cost much, hold one extra round, and work slicker than snot in my 1911A1.
