Very nice. Is it a 6 digit?

First digit appears to be a “1,” so it should be. 308 in that configuration is going to be a 5 or 6 regardless.

Be prepared, the last one sold for $1400 last week. That one had a walnut stock and a BOSS though.

Walnut stock is good. Boss, not so much. I can see this short action. 473" stainless synthetic bringing $1,100.00 though..

If I knew I could buy it for that, I'd do it. I don't like auctions, tell me what you want and if I'm willing to pay that, we've got a deal. Auctions can get crazy. Nice rifle, for sure.

Yeah, you never know with an auction. Sometimes it's the guy that's consumed the most alcohol, or the one with the biggest ego that ends up winning.

That one had a few go rounds. Surprised the [bleep] out of me as it wasn’t in pristine shape and as bsa pointed out, was a boss. Had sold earlier this spring for well under 1K - saw it when initially posted and then seller (pawn shop) ended it early. Somebody in Elizabethton TN is pretty happy. And hopefully the buyer is as well - but as BSA points out above, you NEVER know - sometimes it’s just guy who has a few and says “F it” and hits that buy it now button (please don’t ask how I know.)

Dollars to donuts it sells for $1500 plus.

I don't believe they made very many Classic's in 308, in any configuration. You almost never see them, and almost everybody wants one.

When I bought my two in 308 (Classic Stainless Walnut and Classic Compact) for barely over $550 each new, ........damn I wish I'd bought 10.
