I have for sale, what appears to be, a Colt Government Mk. IV Series 80 heavily modified with a Safari Arms frame, 38 Super which comes with one magazine. I will tell you all that I know about this pistol as I have never fired it and I acquired this pistol from one of my men who was in need of money. He said he bought it thinking a 38 Special and a 38 Super were the same thing. Hey, he's not a gun guy, he's young and he just bought what he thought was a cool gun. Anyway, to help him out financially I bought it from him. I speculate I paid way more than it is worth; but, I was helping a soldier out. Anyway, it has just been sitting in my safe as I have no desire to shoot it or to own it. The pictures will tell you most everything about it. I speculate there's probably some loss in value based on the holes drilled for the red dot mount, which will be included. I can tell you the action is very slick and that the trigger is the epitome of a hair trigger. Based on input from others, I am asking $600 shipped and insured.
