my friend Dave S. in Jax made me a new filet knife. 7 inches long, with Bocote wood handles. ATS 34 steel. Highly polished. Already cut myself with it. smile Hope to go fishing this weekend and try it out. Hoping it won't rain.

I gave the knives to my lad Saturday. Yesterday, he went over to St Augustine to fish and visit his wife's family. He gave the one blade to his brother in law. The two of them then proceeded to process 100 +/- pounds of Sea Trout and Kingfish with the knives. Lad tells me that the knives performed wonderfully, and were still quite sharp when they cleaned up.
