I like that.

An unemployed Jester, is nobody's Fool.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

I keep 2 or 3 'speedloaders' in my pocket.

I, too, use speedloaders.

Though I like the leather work, I don't like the starter setup in the OP's picture ... I dropped / lost my starter one time so I'm very particular about having it well-secured inside something with a closed lid, not hanging loose / exposed where it might fall out or be dragged out by brush, etc.

Oh, it's nice looking, for sure. I too own a powder horn, but I've never aspired to carry more stuff with me whilst hunting.

Well done Sharpsman!

Pouch & horn I have been toting as of late when opportunity presents itself.

Some others are either incapable of using a caps-lock key or are just naturally rude.

Most of 'em have only been exposed to scopes with an objective lens bigger than a syrup bucket and don't know squat about how to use barrel sights! And as for history....the only thing that they can tell you about is what possibly took place yesterday!!

If they know what a syrup bucket is.

Both those are nice pieces of kit! Almost 40 years ago at a shoot I won a package of speed loaders. They're still in the original packaging. A horn and bag has always worked as good for me as it did 250+ years ago.

Very nice Sharpsman and KayWoodie. I have several set ups for my flinters hanging in the shop. I really like the setup Sharpsman. I have a ball starter, 50grn & 90grn deer horn powder measures hanging from my strap, ball starter has sheath on strap and I have a piece of artificial sinew attaching the ball starter to my strap. I really like the flat horns for hunting. My set up for shooting matches were you have to shoot from the bag, has a patch knife also on the strap and and a touch hole prick for all of the rock locks. The deer parts on the flap are really cool.

My two favorites...
First one is the getting it done and putting meat on the table, and second one is Sunday go to meetin':
