We had a few storms come through last night and they dumped some much needed rain on us! Yea! There were a few scattered power outages as a result but nothing serious around here. We were really dry. The Wife had started watering the yard and flowers. My Sunflowers at my Dove hole needed it badly. The local farmers had quit planting for lack of moisture and many were having to flush their rice to get it to come up. This never seems to work as well as natural moisture. Hoping all of you'lall got some rain and not too much bad weather.

We got 1.55 early this morning, my young crop of corn and beans were starting to need a good drink.

With the heat and dry we've been having the old timers would call this a million dollar rain.

We need to send some your way. It's rained almost everyday for the past 3 weeks. I bet we've gotten over 10" in that time frame with flash flood warnings and watches almost everyday. Tomorrow is going to be a deluge. The next thing you know, we won't get another drop for the rest of the Summer.

We have something like 5-6 inches in the last week or two.

We need to send some west to help slow down some of those fires
