LOL, where are you getting that from!!

Next thing you know there will be a weight restriction on barrel length! Got to be 5'11" and at LEAST 195 lbs to shoot 30's. It will be like taking the label off a mattress, DONT DO IT!

I wonder if I should sell my 32" Browning Citori 525 as I barely make the height for 30" barrels? And quash my dreams of a 34" Rizzini after shooting one quite well? I did use a plain Jane 30" Citori to make Master class the first time but that 525 got me back in after not registering targets for a few years. The wife doesn't make any of the requirements and she shoots a 30" barreled gun-though it is a semi-auto.

YOUR DOING IT ALL WRONG!

For starters sell me that 32 inch 525. Then go find a nice 28 inch gun, cuz they are so good, and resume shooting only at a much higher level. You will go from Master class to Pro class!

I just had a rebuild done and asked the Smith-who travels the circuit working on shotguns-which one holds up above the others. His reply was the 680 Beretta series. The good Brownings were ranked second.

Browning for myself was a surprise.

I have a lot of fine guns, today they would be too expensive, so I was looking for a cheaper o/u for an introduction gun..... I just picked up a Calvary, which is made by Koffs out of Turkey,. and comes with Beretta chokes, 5, nice wood, scribed with grouse receiver,,,,,, 28 inch 12 484.00

I might be selling this gun tomorrow for a new Savage o/u but we will see,,,,,,,,,, its going to be used for trap and sporting clays....................

My field guns are side by sides, most are over 40 years old, all 26 inch, with chrome barrels....... I agree there are some good deals on them. I have a SKB Ithaca model 100 and 280 I would never part with........

My go to grouse gun, up here in the UP, is a 24 inch barrel model 1100 Remington, with a straight English stock. take the plug out, it holds 5 rounds, and is a bird killing machine,,,,,, came with 5 chokes,,,,,,

I have several guns that I intend to be the custodian of until death. My heirs can do as they wish with those. Maybe not. I may gift them to the youngsters with a stipulation that they can take possession at the funeral. The shotgun that I most cherish is a Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade built in '63. 26.5" bbls choked IC/M.
