for the humans in this community who are looking for something "more."
a lot of them won't even relate to below zero temps for days on end.
they'll just want the experience of the great outdoors.
when they come, they'll likely bring talent, and money. or availability to acquire money.
we all know it takes money to acquire technology. a poor person isn't much of a shooter.
florida is good. i hear that gated communities are deriguor?
Yes on the gated communities. Montana is a big and beautiful place. It is rare that you will find non-Hi-Line natives that embrace the Hi-Line lifestyle. I enjoyed it and love this area but there is a big difference between living on the Hi-Line and visiting Bozeman, Missoula, or the parks.

A week from today I will be packed and ready to launch. Left some things unfinished so I have an excuse to return.
Montana taught us a lot. Thanks for letting us visit.
Well, Dude, best of luck with the move & I'm sure everyone will adapt. You sure as hell won't be shootin' anywhere near as much, but the fishing there is a lot better than good & in the Keys it is just insanely good. And a lot of the fishing can be like huntin' too. I've fished a lot in SW Florida & the keys & I don't think I'd ever get tired of it. Get yourself a nice, deep 23-25' boat that you can do in-shore with & on good calm days that can get you a ways off shore & you'll love it, as will the family. Couple of years & you'll have all learned the ropes & you'll enjoy it, hot weather & foreigners not withstanding. MM

Nah, get a good and proper flats skiff for the shallows, then go off shore in settled weather. There ain't a v-hulled 23-25 foot boat on earth that can properly navigate the flats.
