Well,at least they will get to see her again. Why? Mostly just joking. I'm just saying they are just as messed up as their mother.Anyone that would post that is harboring some serious anger. Justified or not,it's just as big of a sin as their mother's infidelity and abandonment. I suppose the joke is that without the grace of Jesus they are all Hell bound. As I said though,I was mostly joking, since I can't really judge anyone's relationship with God. Yeah, just as messed up. Leaving your kids is the same as a few written words. Christians never fail to impress. You're too easily impressed.

It’s sad they are so bitter, but I understand how they feel. I had a similar childhood. You don't know that they are bitter, just honest. I guess a good 'Christian' would have lied. They spent a good chunk of change on that listing. How about not saying anything instead? That way they don't have to deal with the constant 'So sorry about your mother' fake shiet from everyone in town. I wouldn't think that they would have much to deal with since anyone that knew them should know of their estrangement from their mother. Hence 'stupid' sheit. Cuzz 'Christians' always feel the need to say something.

It makes one feel fortunate to have had parents that worked their butts off to raise the five of us and point us in the right direction......no dope heads, no slackers and no inmates......

First married at 19, for five years. Them kids had to have been toddlers when she left, I'm wondering if they picked up some of that viewpoint from their grandparents.
I'm wondering how they feel about their half-sibling.

It appears her husband also deserted his kids. There is likey a lot more to the situation that no one else but a few even knows of, including her kids. It is sad.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Where was Dad? It says she got knocked by her husband's brother. Hubby was probably long gone. There's no mention of what happened to that 3d child.

Seems fitting. There's a lot of bad behavior that I could overlook, but I don't believe I could ever understand someone leaving their children.

Maybe where you live. The "death notice" is the only thing the paper does free here. My grandmother's obit, which was fairly short and to the point, was over $500. When my mother died, her mother (who, along with my grandfather, were the one's who raised me) simply said "well, at least she's out of her misery". My grandmother was one of the kindest, most forgiving people I ever met, but even she had her fill of my mother's crap. Your right, we don't know the whole story, only what was in the obit. I'm sure the dad was at fault too (mine was). But, I wouldn't cast stones at the kids for venting some anger at the person who should have loved them, been there for them and so on. Because it's family and their mother, I can tell you from personal experience that it takes a LONG time to get over that kind of hurt. I tried for years to just "move on" and not let it bother me. Easier said than done. Wasn't until after my mother died that I was able to completely let it go.

Lot of hate there.
A local lady here raised her kids, got them through college, and then bagged life to reconnect to an old boyfriend. With a recent encounter with one of her daughters, I asked how the lady was doing. Answer was I don't know, and I don't give a damn. Sure pissed off her original family

Harboring that kind of vitriol is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. Sad, indeed.
