Recent communication with John indicates that he will be distributing his book in the U.S. through a warehouse in Sealy, TX.

Details will be available soon...but I believe there will be a couple ways to pay for the book, which will then be shipped from Texas.

The first shipment of books has not yet arrived, but once they do I will post it up, along with details on where to go to order.

My offer still stands - I will pick up books in Sealy and mail them to members, should the other methods prove difficult. I want to make it easy for folks to get their copies.

Prices and availability of paperback, hardcover and limited edition hardcover will also be communicated once those details are in hand.

This has been a long time coming! Besides the usual "Africa drama", John's editor fell ill with appendicitis and had to go under the knife right about the time they were finishing up.

I hope to be back soon with more information!

I have started a spreadsheet to keep track. Between here and another site there is quite a bit of interest!

It will depend on the pricing. Leaning towards hardcover though.

I just learned that there will be three price points for the book:

e-book at $35
Soft cover at $60
Limited edition signed hard cover (in slip cover) $250

There will be links on John’s website to order any of the above, and I will also be buying copies locally in Texas and mailing.

I was not aware of the e-book, and I also mistakenly thought there would be a generic hard cover.

I received an advanced copy for review purposes. It contains great stories, and John is a very good writer, with a sense of humour, so I was VERY impressed.

I look forward to seeing the print copies, because the photos are also outstanding.

Once the books ship from Africa I will PM all who have asked for a book, to let you know where to send funds and to solicit your mailing address.

I have nearly $2,000 worth of pre-orders already. I am going to be writing a big check when I go to pick these books up!

I keep checking to see if it is on Amazon, no dice. I figure it would be easier for you that way, seeing I am from Canada. I also can't see how to order from John's website. Shipping would probably be a bear for cost.

So I will trouble you Tarbe, as there seems no other option. Let me know what is easiest for payment, considering I am in a foreign country. Paper cover please.
