Got a 28' RV. and cupacabra on a spit could be a delicacy. Not sure I can make it this year but will put on the calendar for next year.

Just four-legged friends (elk), who folks two years ago said kept them awake at night with their bugling.

I happened to see 7 around Paul's place while driving out. Fun to know they are there.

BTW, the monsoon season definitely started this morning here in the mountains east of Albuquerque.

I looked online at MyRadar that shows heavy rain near Gallup and Quemado, but as Paul (CCCC) who lives there says, Armijo Springs is surrounded by mountains and weather patterns are quite different from even nearby areas. Any rain there?

I emailed Rick yesterday with a formal request. Maybe if he got several more, he might see one... blush

Drive slow, in that country, at night - 2 or 3 years ago, I barely missed a HUGE bull elk on the shoulder (more or less) of the road!

3/4 inch of rain overnight - slow/gentle - just right, but only a smidgen of what is needed. Clouds are low and it's spitting a bit right now - maybe we'll get a bit more before the SW sunshine takes over again.

Mark and Patrick: 7:43 PM MST - looks like maybe the same bull that is down at the pond having an evening drink right now. He's huge - drinks too much.

Need to bump this up - so happy to report 1.5 inches of rain since late Friday night. A good start - more of the same will help our plans a bunch.

Excellent regarding the rain.

Is someone planning on posting a Supply List? I can start one, but I'm not sure how others would be able to edit the list. I guess we could set up a Dropbox and then send out invitations, but that's a PITA and requires e-mail addresses.

I could start the list and then post it and then when someone else makes additions they could post the new list. Any other ideas on how to go about informing the members here of the needed supplies?
