Been about 20 years since I’ve loaded for one. What are you using? Speed? Thanks

Can’t help you much with the 210’s....but getting 2950 with 225 TTSX’s in my wife’s .338 ( Win. Model 70, 24” barrel). memtb

Had great accuracy out of both IMR 4350 and RL19. They both had an accuracy node that shot 3025fps or so.

I use Nosler 210's. IMR4350 is the powder that shot the best for me and I tried several.

. 338 WM, Federal Safari brass (nickel plated), Barnes 225 TTSX, 78.5 grains of RL 22, Federal 215 primers

It’s worked quite well for numerous, elk, and antelope, a bear and a moose! memtb

Jud, I used Re 19 and a lot of it.. Got close to 2950 I believe.. I will be. Home in three or four days and can check.. I used Bob Hagel’s Method for checking pressures.. It was above the max in some books..

+1 for IMR 4350, many years ago I loaded it behind the long discontinued Speer 275 gr. RN bullet. I still have the target with a 3 shot cloverleaf group, it was the most accurate combination in my pre'64 Winchester M/ 70 .338 WM.

RL-19, as much as your gun will take.............usually about 2950'ish.

For 250's, RL-22, again as much as your gun will take for about 2700'ish.

That's gotta be warm............2950 with the 210 is not a wimpy load.

71.0gr of H4350 fed 215 with any of 225 will do just fine.

Sirocco's are really nice boolits, but they don't shoot well in all guns / calibers across the board; never tried them in a 338 though.

You be a wise man to only buy a few to test the waters....................

Never had a 338 that ever got top velocity with either version of 4350.

I use the 225-grain TTSX for all my hunting in Alaska, but a couple of months ago while looking around the Sportsman Warehouse I saw a Switft box of loaded ammo with the 210-grain Scirocco (tipped), and the price of good enough for my to buy it. Anyway, they shot quite well out of my two .338's, so I was quite pleased. Both rifles are Ruger M77, one MKII and the other African (without a muzzle brake and express sights).

Jud, I shoot North Fork 225’s in mine. Makes life real simple. Point, shoot, big critters go down in a hurry. Accurate too. My ‘68 vintage Sako shoots 0.4” groups at 100 yards with RL-19. 2800 FPS.

As. Far as 210s go on game, the swift scirocco is hell on everything I've shot with them at 3200 out of my Rum

For anything I hunt in the eastern USA I have had great success with my 338 load...

Hornady 225 SP
60.0 gr IMR 4064
Gives me a chrono reading of 2675 out of my Sauer 101 and 1/2 inch groups @ 100 yds. Also a very affordable load. I have never had to shoot twice at an animal with this load and bullet performance is excellent.

When I hunted the 338 WM my exclusive load was the 210 NP. Like the 130 NP from a 270, it works beyond its "numbers."

To me it's the ideal bullet in the 338 for elk here in MT.

Can't recall the load, but in my 22" bbl'd 338 WM I went 2,950 with H4350.

Here's a bull I shot in his bed with the 338/210 combo...

Can't help, run 250 SAF's to 2750 in my 338 WM, 210 NPT's run 2800 fps in my 338-06, need to get them both out on heavy game hunts, like the hell out of both rounds, Good Luck! smile
