Have A lyman borescope coming my way and wonder if it's wise to dry bore before use. Isopropyl alcohol and patch good or bad idea? Thanks

Thanks again John, scoped couple 22rf today and the Lyman is A handy tool. Wanted the borescope to check how I was doing with my cleaning, but it shows way more. Anschutz 1416 did not look as smooth as RAR, if Ruger tighten up their chambers I bet they would hang with the best.
