I just found an 1148 410 3" gun / mod choke barrel in almost perfect condition. What's a fair price to pay for it?

I'd say $500 or so.

May be worth more; I'd start there.

Thinkin its stronger than 500. But if you can get it bought for that do it NOW

Blue Book pretty close to $500, vent rib a few bucks more.

Blue Book can lag behind a moving market, generally pretty close on static markets.

I'm not sure about 11-48 demand, sub gauges typically bring more.

700+ and it does have a vent rib. I will say gun is very clean though.

If it’s almost perfect 700 is not bad.

That clean with a rib, Blue Book would not rule my decision. Some of their prices are way behind the market.

Just sold one. (Skeet choked) $900. Still have an identical 28ga, that's field choked.

DMc, do you want to sell the 28 ga? If so, send me a price and let me know what you mean by field choked. I would like a modified or improved choke to make a decent bird gun.

There's an 11-48 28ga on Gunbroker listed for $699.00. It hasn't received a bid, and I think it's been relisted a time or two?. It's skeet choked. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $900 and it's a "full" choke. It's a dove demolisher! One of my favorite dove busters. Patterns well out to 30 yards. And is in excellent condition compared to the one on GB.
