Heads up. I know there are guys out there that love these things.

There is one on craigslist for sale. Needs refurbed but I think they only want $200. It is located in Manhattan, MT.

As of a few years ago Alaskan campers was still in buesness in chahalis wa..don't know if they still are...I want there for some parts for mine...those are still made the same as always...newer looking interior better jacks and hydrloic system but mainly the Same....the new ones were terrible expencive so the main buesness they were doing was rebuilding the old ones...there were several in the shop getting upgraded and refurbished...they said they would rebuild and old one for about half the cost of new....there is a cult following for these...somone will snatch that up...
Best camper ever built...I saw one tore down...the walls start as 1 1/4 marine grade plywood they cut out all the windows and studs leaving no seams to get loose...ingenious...I guess that's why they cost a lot...

They are great campers. Very well built. Lots of storage for a pickup camper because the original owner built sailboats. Top quality components. Used units are usually destroyed by water damage. Look for water stains around the ceiling fans. Check caulk around windows, Outstanding support by factory.
