This video is a film made during our Wilderness Elk hunt in the Kachina Peaks of Arizona. A place I will probably never hunt again, making this hunt very meaningful, given the many times I drove by and said that some day I wanted to hunt there.
This has been a long-time in the making. Thankful to so many who helped; Marcus, Wade, Ty, Joe, Clay, and some serious musical talent wishing to remain unnamed. RMEF was instrumental in convincing the Forest Service to grant us a film permit in this Wilderness Area, given all the cool aspects such a hunt could feature.
This land is your land, keep it that way.
My name is Randy Newberg and I approved this post. What is written is my opinion, and my opinion only.
"Hunt when you can. You're gonna run out of health before you run out of money."
Sooner or later our heritage of hunting is going to be a rich mans sport and the words "Outfitter" and "Hunt Industry" will be synonymous with cancer and A.I.D.S. among blue collar hunters like me and my family!(A.L. Williams - 2010)
Perhaps my favorite kind. At least as far as hunting lands go.
Thanks Randy,
Geno
The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)
Randy, I must say I really enjoy your show... I retired from Scripps Networks a few years ago (HGTV, Food Network, DIY, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, etc) and I was their VP of Broadcast Engineering. If it had video and audio with it, my engineering team was involved. I was in the business for almost 30 years and have been heavily involved with broadcast formats and means of acquisition for many years. With that said, what got me watching your TV show, to begin with, as I noticed how good the video quality and production was... I must say that I have watched every one of your shows that I can see on Amazon Prime. I love the content and love the quality of it. Keep on doing what you are doing and I will keep on watching.
