Guy on the next bench today had a CZ455 .22 mag and was struggling with a couple of ammo brands. I can sympathize, having been in the same boat myself some years ago. He said he'd had good results with some old Winny 40gr JHPs, but the new stuff wasn't so hot. Whatever 30gr HPs he was shooting had cost him $18 a box at the LGS. Ouch! The Fiocchi 40gr VMax .223s I had just shot were only a bit more, shipped!

Good luck with yours.

Don't know.. NO info on the box except JHP.. Mean lookin' lil bullet though.

That MIGHT be the same bullet that Nosler makes and sells to Midway as their Dogtown Bullets, or Midsouth's Varmint Nightmare Extreme. I use them in my .22 Hornet, and it's a ripping good little bullet. Cheap, too, about $9/100 in 500ct. boxes.

Hornady did a big old run of 33gr. V Maxes some years ago, for Remington, but Remington didn't want them, and a buddy of mine bought a spitload of them and used them in a Fireball, and they shot really well, too. Apparently, surplus .22WMR bullets are made pretty well.

The 77/22M is my very favorite rim fire. I had tried a 17 HMR in Savage on the pesky critters I have to deal with around the house. Accurate gun, but the 17 just did not have the guts for it. I purchased the Stainless Synthetic Ruger 77/22 in 22 magnum and it performed wonderfully. I was surprised to find that it is a control fed action like the big boy Model 77s. I mostly shoot the 40 grain CCI, but it shoots most anything 40 to 45 grain well. I have not tried 50 grain ammo, but will start looking for some.

There was no greater freedom than when I would leave Holiday Park Fish Camp heading my airboat west toward the Big Cypress. Fuel for 4 days, a good machete, an ice chest. No phone, no radio. Just God and me and the Everglades.

Forget the Ruger, who is this and how do I get one?

Yun Seon Young, maybe the current queen of Korean models. For some reason, she never smiles in her photos; just looks sad and thoughtful. If she smiled, I might just die.

Might be putting my mancard at risk, but Pinterest is chock full of lovely women like this, fully clothed for the most part in amazing clothes. I've got Yellow Fever pretty bad, even married a sweet Chinese gal trying to cool it down.
