With leftover mashed potatoes. Anyone else grow up eating this?
We haven't ate it in years. Cleaning up from supper wife and I were talking about it, kids never had it. That's gonna change.
Ate it a lot as a kid. It was quick and cheap. Cheap was important. Taters, 10x sugar, peanutbutter

Yes, I've had it. Not bad.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

It did not happen without either recipe or pictures. Preferably both.

Sorry, this is the limit of my computer skills, no links or pics.
1/2 cup mashed potatoes, no salt or pepper 6-8 cups 10X powdered sugar Peanut butter.
Mix enough powdered sugar with the potatoes to make a stiff sticky dough. (About all the sugar it will accept and not get too dry to roll out)
Place on a big piece of wax paper or parchment.
Roll it out with a rolling pin until about 1/8" or a little thicker. (May need to do this in batches)
Smear about 1/4" or a little less peanut butter all over potatoes.
Start at an edge and roll tight using paper to help.
If you rolled out a lot at once, only make your rolls an inch or a little bigger around.
Stick it in the fridge wrapped in the wax paper and plastic wrap.
Ready when cold, slice off 1" chunks.
Be warned, it's SWEET so much so, you can choke on it.
Makes it sound good, I know.

Never heard of it. I’ll have to ask Pop. “Smear about 1/4" or a little less peanut butter all over potatoes sugar.”

First time I've ever heard of it. Looks interested, but sounds awfully sweet! https://bellyfull.net/2017/10/16/old-fashioned-potato-candy/

I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.
