I was finally able to get a marlin camp 9(have a camp 45 and love it). The good is that is nickel and someone looks to have already changed out the buffer(and I hope the spring) The bad is that has a choate stock and really want a factory. Was hoping some guys here had some insight:
1 ) is there a way to tell if the recoil spring has been changed? The buffer has definitely been changed
2) I know boyds has aftermarket stocks but does anyone know of where I can procure a factory stock(I know a long shot)
3) I found my 45 was a little picky on ammo and really liked 185 g bullets. Has anyone found this to be true with the 9 on bullet weights
