Thanks for the reminder. Yes - it did come back with a test target. See photo above. Although I think its been well discussed that Cooper's test targets are done at 50 yards.
I sure didn't anticipate so much eye brow raising at my posting with the request that interested parties discuss price via PM.
I suppose some people just want to see a number.
Sticker from Cooper $3295 Plus the new barrel installed this month.
$2800 gets the rifle from my door to your FFL.

Nothing classified. Nothing secret. Like I mentioned a few posts ago, this rifle came from Cooper at $3,295. It just returned with a brand new barrel. I'm well aware that I won't get that price, and that I'll take a good hit in order to sell. Thats part of the game. My loss, and someone else's gain.
Knowing the buy price gives lookers an idea of what the rifle cost brand new, and I'm open to offers- any and all price offers. Thats why I put it here on classifieds.
Rather than toss up a number and bump the thread with price drops for the next 2 weeks (something I'm personally not a fan of) - shoot me a PM and we can work out a price that fits for me and the buyer. Are you a car salesman in real life?

I’m not. I thought an interested buyer might appreciate discussing price in PMs, but I miscalculated the response of all the other onlookers. My apologies. Price is posted.

Just a suggestion, may want to just make a new ad.

Thanks LazyV. I’m ok with it. This isn’t a Ruger American or Tikka where buyers might be lined up looking for a deal. And I know that. It will take the right buyer who likes American made wood stocked rifles and the 6mm caliber. I don’t mind the posters who have muddied the ad. It keeps it at the top for me without the shameless bump/TTT

Thank you. The grain and blonde streaks are nice with the stainless. Plus a touch of class with the checkered bolt knob.

Lapua- I’d have to get with Cooper to answer that.

O-Ag,
Coopers are AWSOME rifles. Just thinking of parting with mine makes me feel like crying! The test target for yours (nearly a perfect match for mine) shows some of what these rifles are capable of. Mine has shot groups very close to that at 100 yards and not much worse at 200, I suspect yours will too.
Just an FYI....
The guys at Cooper told me they shoot their test targets at 42 yards in an indoor range. If you give them a call they will give you the specifics of the test load they used.
If I only had the money yours would be on it's way to me. These are simply the best rifles for the money. I doubt you could do better even at three times the price.
Somebody please buy this before I do something I can't afford!

Thanks Mickey-D. Its a pretty one. If I was keeping a wood stocked beauty in the safe, it would be something like this is just about any 6mm flavor.
What I really need to do is scope this, buy a box of Hornady Precision Hunter or Prime in 6mm Creed, and see what it does with factory box. That might be helpful to some, and would fulfill a few of the requests I have for "how does it shoot with X".
I'll try to do that this month. For now, its got zero rounds down the tube from me. Only Cooper and the test target shots.
