+1. I used the 570 gn CEB BBW #13 in 500 NE 3” on an elephant. Several feet of penetration on a frontal brain shot. The recovered bullet was intact except for the rifling impression. Very accurate and impressive performance. I decided on the CEBs after quite a bit of load development using them and the Barnes Banded Solids, based on consistency and slightly higher velocities with same powder charges without apparent pressure differences.
When I return to Zim after tuskless next year I’ll use the 400 gn 0.423” CEB BBW#13s in a 404 Jeffery.
