Being a lefty Im limited on rifle choices. My goto accurate 22's are my 1813L and 54MS Anschutz. The single shots do get to be a chore. When Vudoo came out with their rifles last year I was impressed. To my surprise they started making left hand actions. I got mine in 1 month! I went with an 18 inch Bartlein barrel, Manners T4A CF Elite stock, Trigger Tech Diamond and Vortex AMG in MOA. I didn't hold back and bought the best of everything. Well after shooting about 200 rounds today I was impressed. The groups rival my Anschutz. It runs smooth and cycles perfectly. I can't wait for the 22 PRS match at my club.

Vudoo seems to focus on the "tactical .22" market. My son is/was in the market for a higher end .22 action for a custom sporter, and considered the Vudoo, but the magazine and bottom metal wouldn't work on a more classically styled sporter.

Paul could be mistaken but I thought I heard they were going to be working on a flush magazine option...?
At any rate have your son give them a holler, they’re top notch guys and more than willing to talk about options

Bhoges, that’s a great looking rifle you ended up with!

Sweet set up bhoges!

We had the V-22 out yesterday. Heat was brutal, but our 11yo Audrey was digging it. She made a bunch of hits on a 4" steel at 330 yards.

I hear great things about their actions, but I just can't get past that butt ugly mag box sticking down from the belly. I would like to build a carry/sporter rifle with one of their actions, but I don't want to carry with that block in the way.

Are they a 40X based action inlet? or something completely unique?

Its a 700 footprint. It uses 700 bottom metal, trigger and stock. The reason it uses they type of magazine is due to the fact that its a trainer rifle to drop into your tactical setup. Same size magazine at AI bottom metal like Badger or PTG.

Depends on what you want. You can just buy the action. Or just the barreled action... with it without triggers, stocks, chassis, optics...

Check out thrower website and if you don’t see what you’re looking for give em a call. Very nice people.

Simply put,the Vudoo stands alone and doubly so in a Hard Use role. Their all S/S construction is a great aid and the tolerances are just simply fhuqking stupid. It's nice to be able to pick a barrel flavor,Paul and crew are 100% ON it and the platforms fills a glaring void like no other.

Bartlein 18" Kukri here,in Faux McMillan. 30 MOA Vudoo rail and 40 MOA Horn's,with nearly 40 Mils remaining on erector,on otherside of 50yd zero, with 10x MQ.

[Linked Image]

Bartlein 18" Specter here,in a McMillan Classic. 30 MOA Vudoo rail and 40 MOA Horn's,with nearly 40 Mils remaining on erector,on otherside of 50yd zero,with 6x MQ.

1000 Words On Inclination RINK

The Vudoo's Swan Song,in addition to it's incredible Rugged Reliability,is in the very mag design itself. It is a robust/simplistic design, that is well crafted and I've whistled better than 7500rds through 'em thus far, less an issue. I keep a mainstay mag in each rifle,so they by default bear the brunt and I think it's a nice way to extrapolate long term actual use, relegated by their respective behaviors. They are wearing well and projectile deformation remains nil, which is a HUGE fhuqking advantage,in regards to both Accuracy and Precision.

1000 Words On Vudoo CRF Feed/Function RINK

It's a shame to hamstring such a Splendid Parcel, with a piece of fhuqking schit Vortex and their hilarious version of erector travel latitude. Makes less than ZERO sense,to purposely disconnect spark plugs and negate soooooooooo much available performance. With nearly 50 Mils on tap(erector/windshield melded) ala MQ,the 700yd line is a reality mechanically.

Hint.

You've been led to water...pun be intended.

The Vudoo can/will/do more than hold their own, amongst High Zoot Exemplary Wares of the ilk and CRUSHES same,in Rugged Reliability. I wish Paul would/could stab 75MOA rails on the Vudoo, for THE win.

I love the 54MS Repeater you have there. I my a 54MS myself. Being left hand they only offer single shot. I'm happy with Vortex Razors and Amg's never had an issue.

Vortex has exceedingly trite erector travel and I've yet to see one hold zero, track, repeat or resist zoom shift. Tough to swoon that version of "performance",especially in 22LR,where it takes wayyyyyyy more DOPE,to connect dots.

The Cheeseschutz T-hole MacaMillion Repeater wins for Show...but nothing rivals a Vudoo for Go.

Numerous pards have Vudoo'd,after I got my first and nobody has anything resembling a first regret. While they do not give them away, you certainly get more than you pay for and that's never a bad thing IMHO.I only have a dozen mags to sort through,so cain't speak to them like I can for other platforms, where I've shot/got 50+ mags for the system...but the Vudoo AICS DBM is simply exceptional. The 2oz Shilen S/S triggers shirk abuse happily/easily and have yet to miss a lick, aboard numerous platforms in general and the Vudoo(s) in particular.

'flave,

They are just ordinary run of the mill Peacock Bass. Here along The Milford,we did a lend/lease program with Florida in 1984 and high-graded their stock of Peacocks,so they'd eat some of our bigger fish for Boating Safety. Fish Strikes were taking their toll, with multiple deaths,so a proactive approach was requisite. Sorting through the initial transplant program,we latched onto 12 pairs of Superior Specimens and the population has largely exploded. The females have tits,so they were/are easy to sort.

Anywhoo...the Peacocks tend to run the gamut in relative coloration, from blasse' mirrors to full Rut Plumage(both sexes).

Being new to the Fishery,I've not caught one much over 44" in length, but they supposedly get purty big and I'd like to see one some day. Perhaps some day,Fortune will shine?!?

[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Carnivorous by Nature(pun be intended),they oft will strike that which bears a resemblance and are easily Decoyed, with Rifles bearing a similarity. I like Calling for them too,but it's tough to beat a good Decoy!

[Linked Image]

My favorite wares are a Zebco 33 Spincast Reel(the OLD ones are best),because they hold a lot of line and arrange finite feel, which is imperative to subdue the Peacock's soft strike. I tend to couple same with a True Temper steel rod, because they weather well.

I prolly ain't too many days away, from making a cast and perhaps even shooting a smidge.

Film at 11:00!

'fiable,

I had Jill on the horn last,to thank them for yet another parcel and she made it sound like MAYBE late this year. Business is booming and they are in a nice position,by leading the charge.

Would REALLY like one in Whizzum!

'tide,

It prolly won't suck.

You cyphered it's Final Form yet(glass,mounts,rings,trigger,stock/chassis,etc.)?

Fhuqk everything else.(grin)

'hoges,

5 OhZee's is better than 6 OhZee's...but 2 OhZee's is assuredly a nice place to be.

Fhuqk the safety.

And The Vortex POS.

I've went back and forth a lot, but landed on the Ridgeback stock with the barrel at 20". The Manners PRS and McMillan A-6 both speak to me, but Paul said he doesn't know when they'll be in, so Ridgeback it is. 30 MOA rail was a given, as is the Horn rings, but I'm still undecided on the scope.

As you know, I like too many X's, but whatever it wears, it'll have about 50 MOA or more built in between the rail and rings...

I'm gonna give the Trigger Tech Diamond a shot. Paul and I talked for a while and he recommended it since I'm spoiled with the 5018 Anschutz triggers.

One thing I did make sure I asked them to do, is put a bunch, at least 10, mags aside with my name. I don't want a shortage when it's time for mine to ship!

We tried to stock a few of them in our stock pond but the bluegills ate ‘em as quick as we tossed them in...pathetically docile species!

I've warned my buddies if you shoot it you'll buy one. I can't wait for the weekend. I want to try some cheaper line of ammo and see how it does. CCI SV was too difficult to chamber just not worth it. Might try Eley Force I've heard some good things.

Got my barreled action couple weeks ago. After stocking and scoping it, took pics and of groups and sent to my shooting buds. Their all wanting to take it for a spin. Warned them if they do, they'll end up ordering one.
Fun gun for sure.

One of the most fun guns to shoot that I own.

I had some feeding, and thus, accuracy issues at first and had to send the rifle back. They made that process as smooth as it could have been. Even giving me his CC# over the phone to pay for the return shipping. Great company and great people. The issue was with the tolerances of the inletting of the stock, not the action.

I intend on purchasing one in HMR if/when they develop it, although I understand it’s not their top priority.

I remember your early posts on that. Good to hear you got it sorted out....

The CZ PT in the Manners has served well, but the daughter has laid claim to it as of late. Recently moved from a RH action over to a lefty, can't really think of a better way to build the mechanics. It'll ride in a LH PRS1 playing switcharoo with the Bighorn.

Pretty set on a Bart tube. Has anybody gone a different direction there?

When my brother (certifiable) and I ordered ours they suggested ACE barrels and had a few MTU’s left- so that’s the route we both went.

I emailed Vudoo about flush fit mags. Their reply stated said mags were planned "within the next year". Encouraging news!
