I tried some years ago...crayfish pattern and flavor on smallmouth...it actually worked pretty good, even on a dead drift in flowing water where it wasn't clear so you know they were going by smell alone...

They work great down here on the gulf coast, just about all salt water fish here will hit them. Just dont forget and leave one on your hook they are a pain then.

I've caught some walleyes with them on a jig.

I used Berkley Gulp for Wayeye's and Smallies.....always caught fish. Berkley places a lot of research into their products and they do catch fish.

MUCH prefer the Berkeley Rippleshad over the Gulp Minnow.
We’ve caught some nice trout trolling the 3” Gulp Minnow on a 18”-24” leader behind a flasher.
You better pray to the God of Skinny Punks that this wind doesn't pick up......

I've never used them in freshwater but they work good enough for for west coast surf fishing that a lot of people like them over bait. I've caught a lot of surf perch with their camo bloodworms.

I also have used the 2 1/2 inch minnow behind a dodger for landlocked salmon and trout. It worked well.

There isn't ANYthing here that won't hit Gulp! Largemouth, smallmouth, bluegill, crappie, yellow perch, channel cats, bullheads, walleye, wipers, tiger muskie, rainbows, cutthroat, brookies, browns, kokanee, whitefish. Those are just the ones I've caught or witnessed.

Their Powerbait is what really impressed me.
