I posted t his in the Gunsmithing forum also....

My wife's T-Bolt 17 HMR has started to have cartridge feeding problems. When the bolt is moved forward to chamber a round, the cartridge does not move up and into the chamber. Instead, the cartridge is pushed horizontally into the barrel slightly below the chamber thereby causing a jam. Thinking that we just had a defective magazine, we bought a brand new one but it does exactly the same thing.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
Thank you.

Since the issue is new I would concentrate on a good cleaning and making sure the magazine is being seated properly.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
