I have a like new model with box, less than 40 rounds fired thru it.
I would like try and find a LH 308 again. Prefer stainless, but would look at a blued. May consider other short action calibers.
Anyone interested?

Ruger only made maybe 40 or so LH stainless Hawkeyes in 308 so I'm afraid one of those is going to be very difficult to find. Based on serial numbers that I was able to discover they made a run of about 19 and then another 19 or 20 showed up. Don't take those exact numbers as hard as fast but for a fact they only made a very small number. Those and an even smaller run of .223's were the only LH stainless short action Hawkeyes I've ever heard of unless someone at the factory made a one-off example of something else. They made and still make LH stainless Scout rifles .308 but not the standard Hawkeyes. They made a goodly number of LH blued short action Hawkeyes in various chamberings.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Yea, I know those Short action Hawkeye stainless are extremely rare, if not impossible to find.
I would consider other brands if someone has something in mind.
