Here's a pic of the waxed haversack I've been monkeying around with lately. Very nice Bob. Somewhere around this place I have a similar set of "silverware". I also have a couple of homemade flint strikers.

Sorry lost track of the thread. The top one is a 54 smooth rifle, Sitting Fox kit. 28 gauge let's me shoot patched round ball, as well as shot. The lower one started as a stock. I built the rifle from there from parts. 50 cal, slow twist round ball gun. Out of the pic is my dad's 80's vintage Hatfield 45 cal flinter.

Dunno if Longhunter visits her much anymore, but that gun you are asking about looks like his LH French Fusil de Chasse, a smoothbore. I know he’s posted lots of sucessful turkey hunt pics with it. Mebbe he’ll be along soon.
