article at Volokh ConspiracyWell, California can't grab peoples standard capacity magazines. The 9th Circuit just upheld an injunction that said so. The reasoning in the ruling is interesting: 2A is implicated in this issue, Heller allows only restrictions that are long-standing, and magazines don't meet that test. It's a good day for us.

Yes, and unusual for the 9th Circuit to get anything right.

What’s standard capacity? A euphemism for things like 15, 20, 30 and 40 round magazines.

Thats good news, SCOTUS ducked reviewing the NY and CT magazine bans so if we have two conflicting lower court rulings it maybe something that SCOTUS would review, that and a new justice might make a nice victory for the 2A

2-1 decision, this will be appealed to an en banc hearing and overturned.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

The decision was by a three judge panel. There is always the possibility of a full court hearing that could confirm or reverse the decision.
