Death of a child (regardless of age) before me. This. I pray it never happens to anyone else here or elsewheres. Trust me, it will. I have a daughter nearing 40. For the last 10-12 years it has been a constant battle with her and drug addiction. She has FIVE boy friends and all have died at the hands of overdose. We have pointed her to help. She has cleaned herself up only to give in again. I can't "make" her stay sober. So now, "I" have given up. I am just waiting for the inevitable. My wife is my rock. THIS THING I am waiting for is my biggest and only fear.

One thing?, Death for starters. More, I'm sure. I have mixed feelings on this. I used to fear death more than anything else. But, I have come to accept the fact that it's inevitable, and I hope that my acceptance of Christ and the life that I have led will take to a better place.
