There's 3-4 coyote pups playing in my backyard every morning around 6:30 am about 150 yards from the house. They're fun to watch, but I don't really like them back there. Should I just let them be, or try to get rid of them? They're not that wary and wouldn't be too hard to shoot from my porch.

They'll be gone in a few weeks to dine on fawns for several years, your call.

You would save a lot of fawns by eliminating them

Capture them, tame them and learn their ways.

The intelligence gathered would go a long ways in the never ending struggle between Man and Coyote.

If that dont work you could teach them to do tricks and take your show on the road.

Give them an "ACME Products" catalog, a picture of a Road Runner, and then let nature take its course.

Jim Conrad, et. al.,

OR you could take a page out of the Lacey family's book & create a new dog breed by crossing-in their coyote DNA.

Fwiw, our "official TX state dog" is a dog/coyote hybrid. = The TEXAS BLUE LACEY.

yours, tex

trap, neuter, release.

That way someone on the fire call tell you, "I was worried about those coyotes eating my deer, not raping them..."
