Any of you mounted a zebra rug to a wall, if so how did you do that?

Got one in my bedroom, tacked it to the wall with upholstery tacks... VERY nice, Tom. If it was in front of the fireplace, you would blend in!

Black flat headed finishing nails into drywall. The black nails are unobtrusive in the black stripes.

Same but I use small ring sharked paneling nails. These can hold the weight even if not in a stud, although I try to hit a couple studs. They come in black, white and multiple browns, so you can match the stripes. When I have changed the location of the rug I use the same holes over again.

DF When I was a kid, a family friend had one thrown on a sofa so that your back rested on it - scratchiest dang thing since I sat on an elephant while I was wearing shorts.

I have a couple on the floor. One has a felt backing and the other is backed with short-pile, tight weave-carpet. I prefer the felt. My wall zebra (taken in Tanzania) is a pedestal wall mount. Those zebras do not have shadow stripes. The contrast therefore, is striking. I do have bear rugs on the wall but, no zebras. Before - After- Here's the rug with the carpet backing -
