I think it feels better because of the three or four young women who insist on giving me foot massages every time out, you should try it.

Going SC shooting tomorrow with two young hotties. I freely admit I couldn’t handle four. Should I be jealous? Hmmmmm???? No, four would cause me to miss a workout. Go on and abuse your bad self.

Perhaps someday you will realize there is more to life than your own personal sensual self indulgence. Some old Roman-Calig something-had the same malady, which came to a sad ending. Be careful....

I'm talking foot massage at the gym, not pedicure with happy ending at the local salon.....

Quick mountain bike ride this AM. 12 miles, 1300' elev, 53 min.

Now I've got to jump on the big bike and get doing what the man pays me to.

Good luck!

Rode 30 miles today.

I'm a case study in a life out of balance right now. That big job I picked up for the shop is kinda consuming me. It's lucrative, challenging, and very engaging, and it's got me by the short hairs. It felt GREAT to ride and climb some hills and I need to get back at it. Fawk.

Who here uses a jump rope for cardio? Been getting in elk hunting shape and doing a lot of lifting, my normal P90X3, hiking etc. Thought I was doing pretty good until I bought that damned jump rope yesterday. The 20 minutes I put on the timer was ridiculously ambitious.

I do for warm up most days when I box. One thing about jumping rope is that it's not as good of a workout once you get really good at it....you just become more efficient and can relax more while doing it.

I use a heavy rope often in workouts and it never fails to put a beatdown on me.

19.5 miles in the Ten Lakes Wild & Scenic Area- gorgeous country, but a lot of climbing! Also pushed me over the 1000 mile mark smile

Thanks- not much weight, maybe 10-12 lbs (4 of it water); that’s also mixed with some running on the flats/downhills. It’s tough country to move quickly

Last workout was too much too soon I guess. Another round of meds and I was given the OK to start again. 25lb pack for 5.3 miles. First 2.4 were trail with a mother of a climb, remainder was forest road and county road. Felt good and the dog and I were both tired. May try the elliptical or treadmill today.

Yesterday

Stairmaster: 15 minutes

PNWild Day 3 Substituted hammer curls for toes to the bar. Wrist is still on the mend. Hammer curls are ok. Regular curls put on a hurt.

Rower: 30 minutes

Today: Work intervened, but managed a 40min walk/jog with Merlot

Reality vs fantasy....Couple work mates. I didn't get a foot massage.

Decided to take it easier yesterday. Shot my bow a lot and feel I'm close to ready in that regard. This morning was 30min on bike trainer after one set of push up and one pitiful set of dips. Man I lost a lot in 6 months.

Well, maybe you would if you weren't such a cranky old bastid.....

Fishing was tough but managed to dredge up a few. Did the first real "mountain hike" yesterday, 5 or 6 miles, topped out at treeline.

Cranky? Why look at that round of smiles.

Someone on here said it. "Jealousy rarely ever takes a vacation." You couldn't compliment me on my good fortune. You had to pull out the snide remarks. So sad for a man your age.
