I hope he brings back the Remington 600/660, and mini Mauser stocks.

Mark's sheep hunter stock for the rem. 700 is nice and thin up front but is only offered for that rifle. Whish that I could get one for a win. 70. Maybe if enough of us asked he would do it.

LAW was making the mini-mauser stock about 2 years ago, as I spoke with them about ordering one. Never got around to it. But I'll need that stock later this year I hope, and I hope Mark is making them.

I spoke with Mark and his VP , Ben Moedinger at SCI. About all they said about the LAW is that it was a learning experience. Both seemed excited and happy to be where they are right now.

They do have quite a few of the control round feed actions available for sale and they seemed pretty reasonably priced for what they are.

Both Mark and Ben said they used a lot of Hart barrels and Trigger Tech triggers, actually there were quite a few rifle makers using Trigger Tech unless the customer requested something else.

I saw on their Facebook page they have an Alpine Hunter model based on a Howa 1500 barreled action (sound familiar?) I inquired about price and they said $2495. I'm sure it'll shoot but I'm glad I bought my Howa Alpine Mountain rifle when I did. From what I can tell its about the same but was not bedded.... for about 1/3 of the price.

I tried to get one a few months back, and they wouldn't make one. I use them on sako A1 builds - or I guess I did in the past.

Kind of a fan here. Have Bansners on three rifles and a fourth is in the works.

Remington Model 7 in 6mm Creedmoor.

Did LAW go out of business or did Bansner just part ways with them?

Well I guess we can hope that Mark will bring it back. The other option is a McMillan Edge. They make a scaled down version of the Sako Classic and Hunter that works on the small Sakos and the Mini-mauser. Ryan Melancon said they could do a drop-in in either of those in Edge fill.

I guess that's the route I'll go if Mark doesn't offer it.

Yes! That stock is exceptionally well done. A complete game-changer for Howa, yet they cling to the Hogue overmolded boat anchors for all of their other models.
