I have practiced long and hard at spotting and avoiding trouble. If I can run I will run away. The best policy is don't do stupid things, at stupid times, in stupid places with stupid people, statistically this nails about 99.99% of the issues.

Yes and...

If you shoot someone, your gun gets a trigger shoe. Worn by your lawyer.

I start out with a quick turn to my left as I am right handed and carry right handed. As I turn quickly to my left I continue turning as I draw and proceed to run as close to 180 degrees away from the target to be realistic and fire at the target while looking over my right shoulder while doing a quick glance for cover all while screaming for help. The only thing I don't practice due to the drive back home from the range being uncomfortable is to take a dump in my drawers as I know I would in a real "feces hit the fan" situation.

Yep, but that is when your having the most fun.

I use to work with a guy that had a glass eye, I asked one day what had happened. His reply " Well, you know that old saying that it's "all fun till someone looses and eye"..."

Those who are always shooting off at the mouth usually aren't shooting straight.

When I read your post I couldn't stop chuckling. At last a truthful answer for a situation under stress.

We had a couple of sons that were college track hurdlers and when they were younger and in dangerous cities due to the work assignments, I would tell them whenever they were faced with a tight situation that they should just run. I said no one would be able to catch up to you so just keep on going.

Thanks for the laughs.
