...I guess about two and a half years goo and looked at a lot of options, the Maruader pistol carbine was at the top but I wanted to stick with 25 cal, thought it would be an Airforce Condor SS but flipped back and forth between the Condor and the the Talon SS for the reduced length. Then the Escape SS with the Condor power but shorter tank allowed some stock adjustment. About a year ago I started reading and watching videos on the FX Wildcat MK2 but waited for the Wildcat MK2 Compact to hit the market.

Decided at the last minute to get the Wildcat MK2. Pumped it up to 200 bar with the Benji pump, cobbled up some mounts and topped it with a 1x4 SS, plugged 3/8" dots eight in a row at 25 yards shooting off a bag on a stack of plastic buckets. Moved to 50 yards and shot some singles and a five shot group about 1/2" off the buckets and then threw the rest and bags on the concrete.

Five shots in .23" center to center...no regrets going balls out on the second PCP.

The Benji pump is chit, I have replaced all the o-rings and it won't break 150 bar now, ordered a 4500 psi China'loca pump yesterday, should be here tomorrow and I will be back in business.

im still on the marauder train, although the pumping annoys me. the complete lack of noise and “recoil,” and groups like those, make it worthwhile

The China'loca pump arrived yesterday and my back is killing me today, I put a lot of pellets through the FX and I will be looking at the China'loca electric pump and possibly a tank in the near future.

The hand pump worked fine, the gauge won't read over 200 Bar so I used the gauge on the FX and topped it off at 220, I will shoot some strings starting at the max of 230 over the chrony and try to find the sweet spot.

I learned quickly the pointed Benji pellets are chit, they sucked int he Mrod too, about 2" spread at 50 yds in the FX, Benji Domes did good, 3/4"-1" but not even close to the 25.3 gr Exact King's and I am almost out. I ordered a few tins and also one tin of 33.9 for accuracy testing.

I missed the Mrod but this rifle makes up for the wait and I will probably throw a 6X on it this weekend.

And for grins and I wanted to know, I bagged the gun and rigged a string on the trigger, gave it a pull about 20 yards downrange and 45 degrees to the side and that sucker is QUIET <grin>
