The Cowboy was obtained from a CAS pard, used. It had been slicked up, has a Wild West trigger with about as good a trigger as the tweaked 39.

I have an assortment of bullets to try, including 525 gr. Pile-driver, 425 gr. PIle-driver Jr., Laser Cast 405, etc. The Ballard cut rifling should be better than mircogrove with cast bullets.

So, did the trigger stop really make a difference in your groups?

I can't get my bang for the buck out of them. I think my fingers just aren't as steady as they used to be, and I need a little over travel to forgive my over pull.

That is a nice rifle by the way.

It turns a conventional trigger into a near match trigger. It feels better, can’t say it shrank groups, it shot well before.

Just an interesting option that’s not hard to do.

When you get back, put it on the Classifieds with some good pictures. It should sell. Those are always in demand.
